Choosing a school is a big decision, and we never forget that there’s a real child, a real family, and a real future behind every application. Our admissions process is designed to feel supportive, transparent, and meaningful, not stressful or intimidating.
No hoops.
No tests.
No pressure.
Just a genuine conversation about whether Arborum is the right place for your child.
1. The Application
Families begin by submitting a simple application with basic student information and citizenship verification. We don’t require transcripts, grades, or home addresses; just the essentials needed to understand your child and how we can serve them.
2. The Student Questionnaire
Every student completes a short, personal questionnaire, not to measure them, but to meet them.
We want to know:
- what excites them
- what frustrates them
- what they dream about
- what they hope school will feel like
This is how we start building a picture of the learner behind the application; a human being, not a data point.
3. The Family Conversation
Next is a virtual conversation with your family and an Enrollment Coordinator.
This isn’t an interview, nobody is being evaluated. It’s a space to talk openly about learning style, expectations, values, and what a healthy school partnership looks like.
We want to make sure your child’s needs match our philosophy, and we want you to feel confident in what we offer. Alignment matters more than anything.
4. No Placement Tests, By Design
We don’t believe a test should decide whether a student “deserves” to learn.
Every class at Arborum starts with the basics and intentionally builds upward. Students who already know the basics move forward naturally; students who need more time receive it without judgment. Nobody arrives “behind.” Nobody arrives “ahead.” Everyone starts together and grows from there.
5. Acceptance & Enrollment
If it feels like the right fit, you’ll receive a conditional acceptance. Enrollment is finalized once:
- Parents choose a tuition plan
- Required agreements are signed
- Families set up student accounts for the upcoming school year
From there, your child becomes part of our learning community, supported by teachers, advisors, and a school designed entirely around their growth.
